Volunteer Instructors Program

Community resilience is built at the local level and extends across all dimensions of community life.
Through the Volunteer Instructors and Consultants Program, we seek to recruit, train, and, where required, formally certify volunteers from diverse professional backgrounds. These individuals will act as community-based knowledge multipliers, regularly delivering essential skills and expertise within their local communities — ranging from emergency preparedness to the development of social, educational, and economic capacities.

With donor support, the initial phase of the program will focus on recruiting, training, and certifying up to 10 volunteer instructors and consultants across regional communities. Upon request or through partnerships, these instructors will provide structured training, advisory support, and capacity-building activities tailored to local needs.

The resources required to implement the initial phase of the program are structured across two complementary investment categories:

These investments support the establishment and launch of the program:

• Training and certification of 10 volunteer instructors

These investments ensure the effective implementation of the program over a 12-month period:

• Annual insurance coverage for 10 volunteer instructors

This investment enables the launch of the Volunteer Instructors Program, the development of a certified instructor cohort, and the sustained delivery of community-based training and advisory activities.
